My favorite verse at the moment is Ezekiel 18:32, “For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” Declares the Lord God. “Therefore repent and live.” NASB
This verse speaks to me because it shows God’s purpose throughout the Bible is the same, peoples salvation.
Even within the Old Testament we see God pleading for the person to walk with Him, and the message is the same in the New Testament.
Repent and live!

It is very hard to choose, but I always come back to 1 Corinthians 13:4-0. It is more than one verse, but I couldn’t pick just one:
‘Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.’
I think it is beautiful in the way it gives guidance and expresses the wonderful way in which God loves us at the same time. Thanks for posting. God bless 🙂 x

I, too, have many favorites, however Phil 2:14 says: “Do everything without complaining or arguing.” We can learn so much from that small verse.

Like yours (to live), my favorite Bible verse is John 3:17. “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

What an awesome God we have, came to save not condemn. Amen!

Psalm 103
I memorized this psalm years ago. When I faced the death of my child, I KNEW that God is compassionate, gracious, kind, slow to anger, abounding in love. I found great comfort in this truth.
