Matthew 5:14-16 says, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill can not be hid. Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick and give light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
We are called to be a light to the world, to be a light is to shine your faith bright enough for others to see. That does not mean to aggressively push your biblical opinion on everyone you meet, but it means to live out the principles of Jesus in your everyday life. When we forgive easily, speak with grace and let others be first, we shout that we are different without saying a word, bringing glory to God.
