Run Quickly

1 Samuel 17:48, “… David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet the Philistine.” We have heard many stories about David and Goliath, but the most impressive to me is the fact that when he faced the giant, instead of slowly walking out there in fear, he ran.

Whenever I am faced with a giant in my life I tend to take my time looking at all the angles, trying to find the easiest, and least painful way to deal with it. This approach only leaves me in bondage to it longer. I am learning that if I deal with it quickly it makes it easier to accomplish and less painful.
