Let Peace Rule

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…” Colossians 3:15.

What does it mean to let peace rule? Letting peace rule is to choose to do whatever you can to cause peace in a situation. If an argument, you choose to end it, give up, create peace in it. If the actions of another irritate you, choose to find a way to overlook it, choose not to say something. Just because you choose peace over turmoil does not mean they win, it is showing them having peace is more important than who is right, eventually leading to a continuous peaceful lifestyle, which is a win for everyone!

  1. I agree, Kristi . Indeed, the key word here is “choose.” God, through the Holy Spirit, has given us the ability to choose against our baser nature and do that which please Him (Philippians 2:3-4).
