Real Faith

“If you don’t live it, you don’t believe it,” Marion E. Wade.

Real faith, do you have it? Anyone can say they believe, but the person who truly has faith will act on that faith. Some think our individual faith walk is a private matter, one that does not need to be shared, but faith is meant to be lived out loud. Faith is the action that speaks what is in your heart. Every time Jesus came across someone with great faith He said it was the showing of their faith that made them well or accomplished the miracle in their life.

James 2:17 states, “Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.” A faith that remains by itself is not a true faith but a dead faith.

  1. Excellent truth here. You are precisely correct; faith was never meant to be a private matter. Jesus said, “Let your light shine before men that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in Heaven.” Also, note how many times in the Psalms the writer said he would proclaim God to the congregation. Great devotion to start the day!
