I have to admit sometimes I become weary with the job, saying the company is only out for themselves, thinking I need to take care of myself. But God expects us as followers to be above this attitude.

Not too long ago I had this attitude. I became discouraged with the way things were going that day and I decided to take matters into my own hands, making a decision to act instead of trusting God.

Unknown to me, He was working behind the scenes to fix the problem, but because I took matters into my own hands I missed His blessing and reaped the results of my own actions.

He later showed me that if I would have remained in Him, trusting that He has it all under control, I would have seen His great blessing to me.

The apostle Paul said Galatians 6:9, “And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.”

Father, help me to always trust You knowing even if I can’t see You working, You are. Change my attitude towards my employer and help me to better represent You by trusting You to take care of all my needs. In Jesus name, amen.

  3. I read this post after I posted “This Self is a Hard Pill to Swallow.” Sometimes our actions do impede the blessings of God. However, His mercy, grace and forgiveness allows us to recover our focus to not lose out on His future blessings. I can appreciate this post because this is what I was certainly speaking about in the post I did. It is amazing how the Spirit works in the body.
