Think Faith

My husband speaks a little Spanish and he has said the most difficult aspect in speaking this language is translating his English thoughts into Spanish words.

To be proficient in another language, one must learn how to think in that language, rather than their own.

The same is true for faith. In Christianity it is crucial that we learn to think in the way of faith, rather than our own thoughts which were formed from past experiences.

To learn to think in the way of faith takes time and effort. We must learn the concepts and character of God.

Learning the concepts of God help you to think like God. Learning His character gives the assurance that He will be faithful, giving you hope in your walk of faith.

“I have stretched out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, Who walk in a way that is not good, according to their own thoughts.” Isaiah 65:2.

Father, help us to learn about You, to change our thoughts to Your thoughts and to be able to walk a life of great faith. In the name of Jesus, I pray, amen.

  1. “Learning the concepts of God help you to think like God.” But I love Dr. Seuss! Want to be Cat in the Hat? Study Dr, Seuss. Want to understand concepts of God? Study concepts of God. God seems to want to pull the best out of us, doesn’t He?
