Paul says, in the famous verses of Romans 8:38-39, that he is convinced that nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.
This means no matter what you do or say or no matter what someone else may do or say to you, God will always love you.
Since this is the case, why does it seem like God is a million miles away?
This feeling is because you have allowed something to separate you from Him.
It is not possible to lose God’s love for you, but it is possible to lose God’s fellowship with you.
In Isaiah 59:2 the Bible says, “But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear.”
Do you want God to always hear and answer your prayers?
The key is to ask God every day if there is anything between you and Him, and when He tells you, be quick to resolve it within yourself and confess it before Him.
I make it my practice to say to God every day, “let there be nothing between me and You.”
This helps me to keep a kingdom perspective instead of dwelling on earthly problems.
Father, help me to have constant fellowship with you, showing me if there is any thing standing between me and You. Thank you for the promise that you will hear my prayers, in Jesus name, amen.
