God’s Will

Jesus was in God’s will, when He was led into the wilderness.

Jesus was in God’s will, when He was tempted by the Devil.

Jesus was in God’s will, when He picked Judas to be His disciple.

Jesus was in God’s will, when the people were offended with His teachings.

Jesus was in God’s will, when He was brought before the authorities.

Jesus was in God’s will, when He was beaten.

Jesus was in God’s will, when He was stripped off His clothing.

Jesus was in God’s will, when He was mocked.

Jesus was in God’s will, when He was spit on.

Jesus was in God’s will, when He was crucified.

My point is; whether you are feeling lonely, being tempted, finding out your friend betrayed you, being unfairly judged by people or being punished even though you are innocent is no indication that you are not in God’s will.

Even though all of these horrible things happened to Jesus, not one second of His life was spent out of God’s will.

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the first born among many brethren;

and whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

What shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?” Romans 8:28-31.
