All the great people of faith, listed in Hebrews 11, had one specific place in which God continually worked on in order to stretch their faith. These heroes all had in their life a character flaw, a place of weakness, but God still considered them great in faith.
For Abraham it was lying in order to provide himself protection and in the end he was able to trust God completely. For Moses it was his explosive anger and in the end he was considered a meek and humble man. For Gideon it was fear, but in the end he became a great warrior with only a small army. Each of us have our own area of weakness, but in time God can turn your weakness into great faith.
Father, give us the strength to allow you to change our weakness into great faith. In Jesus name, amen.
