Having celebrated Valentine’s Day last month it caused me to think about how much God loves us and how we can never hear enough about it. Do you realize God loves you so much that He has done everything possible to have fellowship with you?
With our natural tendency for sin we are kept separate from God, but because He wants to have a relationship with you, He has provided the punishment for our sins in Christ Jesus. He has also left us His Holy Spirit within us making it possible to have fellowship.
Do you realize God loves you so much, He has sought for you?
God looks for those who will love Him. 2 Chronicles 16:9 says “For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His…” God sought you because He knew you are a person whose heart is completely His, and He is willing to support you strongly in your walk with Him.
Do you realize God loves you so much, He cares about every aspect of your life?
One of the greatest things that separate our God from other religions is that He cares for us. Other religions god’s are to be exalted from a distance, having no interest in the lives of its worshippers. Our God wants to be involved personally in our life. He waits for you to ask Him for things to help you, Matthew 7:8 says, for everyone who asks receives, he who seeks finds, and he who knocks it shall be opened. Verse 11 says “…how much more will your Father who is in Heaven give what is good to those who ask.”
Do you realize God loves you so much nothing you do, or say, nor any circumstance in your life will make God quit loving you?
Sometimes, when we make a mistake or our lives seem to be full of trouble we blame God. We say to Him, “Why don’t you love me anymore?” but that is far from the truth, He always loves you even if you don’t feel like He does.
God’s love is constant and never failing, He gave everything just to be with you. Don’t allow the bad things in life keep you from believing God’s love for you. Think of all the bad circumstances in Paul’s life. He understood the great love of God and in Romans 8:38-39 he says he is convinced that nothing good or bad could ever separate from him the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus.
Do not forget, you always have a loving God who is willing and waiting to be your everything. He wants to be your comfort, your guide, and your hope in all areas of life!
God loves you and is waiting for you.
Thank you Father for loving us and making the way for us to have fellowship with you. In the name of Jesus, amen
